Placement Test

From the 2022/23 academic year on behalf of the Faculty of Informatics admitted students are offered to decide whether they start their academic studies on Preliminary semester or directly start BSc Computer Science course, in which form you would like to start your studies! This decision can be made by completing the placement test.

Baed on the result of The Placement Test, the student can decide whether he/she can start his/her BSc studies, or choose our Preliminary Semester. (https://csbsc.elte.hu/preliminary/)

The Placement Test consists of three parts: an Algorithmic Thinking Test (60 minutes), a Mathematics Test (30 minutes), and an English Placement Test (40 minutes). All three tests contain multiple choice questions only.

If the Math placement test result is less than 10 from 15 or /and Algorithmic thinking placement test is less than 28 from 56 than we suggest choosing preliminary course. If the English placement test is less than 25 points, please register for English course in the case of BSc as well!
